The appointment of Professor Fouad Al-Daoud at US Meta Arees International University as a consultant to the University’s Council of Experts in the field of scientific research, academic development, and professional advancement. It is noteworthy that Professor Fouad Al-Daoud holds a doctorate in Microbiology and possesses extensive academic, leadership, and administrative experience in the scientific and academic fields and in leading scientific and academic institutions. Throughout his distinguished academic, research, and administrative career, he has held various prominent positions including Vice President of a university, Dean of several medical faculties, Head of the Laboratory Diagnostics Department, and Professor of various medical courses in microbiology, immunology, and pathology. In addition, he has supervised numerous graduate studies for master’s and doctoral degrees.

In a significant step toward aligning academic innovation with practical transformation, Zaad International — the official representative of US Meta Arees International University in the Middle East — signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Golden Assets Holding, a leader in digital transformation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This collaboration, titled Digital Transformation with Artificial Intelligence and the Metaverse, marks a new phase in building future-ready solutions in smart education, e-governance, smart cities, and immersive technologies. It reflects a shared commitment to supporting Saudi Vision 2030 through integrated innovation, training programs, and joint development projects. The memorandum was signed on July 7, 2025, by Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Ghamdi, General Manager of Zaad International Company, and Mr. Abdulatif Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Yahya, General Manager of Golden Assets Holding Company, in the presence of Dr. Osama Al-Mustafa, CEO of US Meta Arees International University, representing the university. This partnership paves the way for transformative initiatives that connect education, technology, and national development goals in the Kingdom.

On Monday, June 23, 2025, the American Academic Board for Training and Education, affiliated with US Meta Arees International University, represented by Dr. Monkez Al-Akkad — President of the University and Chairman of the American Board for Training and Education — and Future Shaping Training Center, represented by Dr. Abdul Karim Ahmed Al-Imad, General Director of the center, signed a strategic cooperation memorandum in the fields of training, education, advanced professional studies, and academic programs. Dr. Monkez Al-Akkad expressed his pleasure in this partnership, highlighting the importance of the American Academic Board and its accredited American professional certifications, starting from diplomas to master’s and professional doctorate degrees. He also emphasized the additional advantages the board offers, such as memberships and accreditations for trainers, as well as exclusive professional certifications in Metaverse Driving License and its applications, artificial intelligence, strategic foresight, and other new training and professional disciplines. He noted that US Meta Arees International University, under which the board operates, is ready to provide Future Shaping Training Center with accredited academic programs in artificial intelligence, metaverse, public health, medical services, management, education, media, and sciences. From the University and the American Board’s office in Washington, D.C., Dr. Osama Al-Mustafa, CEO of US Meta Arees International University and Dean of the American Academic Board, also welcomed this collaboration. He expressed his hope that it would further advance Future Shaping Training Center by offering its students and trainees the opportunity to acquire diverse and new specializations in the world of training, professional, and academic education, thus enhancing their career status, strengthening their competitive professional advantages, and equipping them with outstanding knowledge and skills. US Meta Arees International University was officially inaugurated in a prestigious ceremony attended by the university’s CEO, Dr. Osama Al-Mustafa, along with a distinguished group of professors from George Washington University, George Mason University, and Georgetown University. The event also brought together leading media experts in the capital of decision-making, as well as investors and donors supporting the education sector. Held at Al-Multaqa Club near the U.S. Congress, the celebration highlighted the university’s pioneering vision that integrates advanced technology-based education—including Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence—into a comprehensive learning model. This forward-thinking approach aims to prepare a new generation of impactful academic leaders around the world.  

Dr. Osama El-Mustafa, CEO and Dean of the Faculty of Media and Metaverse at US Meta Arees International University, was a guest on Shams TV in Erbil, Iraq, speaking live from Washington, D.C. During the program, he discussed his groundbreaking book “Worlds of the Metaverse,” which explores the concept, applications, and profound impact of the metaverse on shaping the future landscape of the new world.

In collaboration between US Meta Arees International University and the Wadi International University (Private University) in Syria, a scientific lecture titled “Building Digital Minds” was delivered by Dr. Eng. Abdulkader Alwer, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at US Meta Arees International University. This lecture marked the beginning of joint academic cooperation between the two universities and was aimed at Syrian university students. It focused on the essential skills and knowledge required to build digital literacy, preparing Syria’s youth to enter the new digital age and equipping them with the foundations of digital leadership and professional engagement in artificial intelligence and its modern applications. Dr. Alwer presented the topic in a simplified scientific narrative enriched with his professional and academic experience in digital and technological transformation. The lecture offered Syrian youth the tools and confidence to lead in the digital arena and enter the job market with readiness. The event was hosted by Wadi International University and attended by Dr. Hazem Malla, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Amjad Hamed Shaker, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with several faculty and administrative staff members.
