In a significant initiative reflecting its commitment to supporting education and empowering young people in communities facing exceptional challenges, US Meta Arees International University (USMAU) has announced the awarding of 60 university scholarships to students who have successfully completed secondary school in several regions of Sudan. The initiative is being implemented in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education of Sudan’s Founding Government, the “Government of Peace.”
The initiative forms part of the University’s broader strategy to expand its educational and development programs across Africa and help provide Sudanese students with access to modern, future-oriented higher education.
It is designed to enable students to continue their academic journeys in fields aligned with technological transformation, national development priorities, and the evolving needs of the future labor market.
60 Scholarships Across Five Academic Fields
The initiative provides:
15 scholarships in the College of Artificial Intelligence and Metaverse
15 scholarships in the College of Media
10 scholarships in the College of Business Administration
10 scholarships in the College of Public Health and Medical Services
10 scholarships in the College of Education and Teaching
The distribution of scholarships across these fields reflects the University’s vision of investing in people and developing capabilities in technology, media, management, health, and education—sectors considered essential to national development, reconstruction, and the creation of a more stable and sustainable future.
