The U.S. Department of Education Officially Adopts the Services of US Meta Arees International University in Secondary Education and Dual Enrollment Programs

The U.S. Department of Education has approved the services provided by US. Meta Arees International University in the field of secondary education and dual enrollment programs. This step represents a significant advancement in the university’s institutional expansion plan .Firstly, Enabling it to reach under served groups by offering preparatory secondary education programs that qualify students for further academic study at the university. In addition to launching dual enrollment programs starting from the high school level. In the official statement of adoption for the “Secondary Schools Strategy” issued by the U.S. Department of Education, it was stated : “As a registered institution in good standing with the Department of Education in the State of Virginia, US. Meta Arees International University recognizes the importance of responsive and future-ready educational models . The implementation of the Secondary Schools Strategy will contribute to strengthening educational equity, innovation, and global competitiveness.” US Meta Arees International University, in its statement, explained that the Secondary Schools Strategy aims to expand access to high-quality education for non-traditional learners and to establish flexible learning platforms that integrate secondary and higher education outcomes. It also seeks to bridge the gap between essential high school competencies and advanced university-level education. This strategy will be implemented through a series of international partnerships and initiatives, with the university reaffirming its full commitment to complying .Moreover, With the standards and reporting mechanisms of the Department of Education in the State of Virginia . As it advances this transformative educational strategy, which represents a vital part of shaping the new future of education worldwide.

US Meta Arees International University, Strategic Partner in the Al-Hasbah Award With the presence of H.E. Sheikha Dr. Afra bint Hishr Al Maktoum, the Ghobashah Events Foundation, chaired by H.E. Dr. Khalid Al Dhanhani, launched the first edition of the Al-Hasbah Award Forum for Inspiring Women. US Meta Arees International University participated in the forum as a strategic partner, represented by H.E. Dr. Monkez Al-Akkad, President of US Meta Arees International , who delivered a speech on this occasion. He stated that the university considers the excellence of Emirati women in all fields, while preserving their national identity, to be a true embodiment of the goals and principles of sustainable development. He further emphasized that empowering women is the empowerment of a vibrant and sustainable human civilization. During the forum, H.E. Sheikha Dr. Afra bint Hishr Al Maktoum was honored and granted the title “Woman of the Year” in recognition of her work, initiatives, and profound influence on society. Strategic Partnership with Future Shaping Training Center in Dubai

On Monday, June 23, 2025, the American Academic Board for Training and Education, affiliated with US Meta Arees International University. Represented by Dr. Monkez Al-Akkad — President of the University and Chairman of the American Board for Training and Education — and Future Shaping Training Center. Represented by Dr. Abdul Karim Ahmed Al-Imad, General Director of the center. Signed a strategic cooperation memorandum in the fields of training, education, advanced professional studies, and academic programs.  The Strategic Partnership Dr. Monkez Al-Akkad expressed his pleasure in this partnership, highlighting the importance of the American Academic Board and its accredited American professional certifications, starting from diplomas to master’s and professional doctorate degrees. He also emphasized the additional advantages the board offers, such as memberships and accreditations for trainers, as well as exclusive professional certifications in Metaverse Driving License and its applications, artificial intelligence, strategic foresight, and other new training and professional disciplines. Scientific Lecture Titled:“Building Digital Minds” by Guest Lecturer Dr. Eng. Abdulkader Alwer

In collaboration between US Meta Arees International University and the Wadi International University (Private University) in Syria, a scientific lecture titled “Building Digital Minds” was delivered by Dr. Eng. Abdulkader Alwer, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at US Meta Arees International University. This lecture marked the beginning of joint academic cooperation between the two universities and was aimed at Syrian university students. It focused on the essential skills and knowledge required to build digital literacy, preparing Syria’s youth to enter the new digital age and equipping them with the foundations of digital leadership and professional engagement in artificial intelligence and its modern applications. Dr. Alwer presented the topic in a simplified scientific narrative enriched. With his professional and academic experience in digital and technological transformation. The lecture offered Syrian youth the tools and confidence to lead in the digital arena and enter the job market with readiness. The event was hosted by Wadi International University and attended. By Dr. Hazem Malla, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Amjad Hamed Shaker. Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with several faculty and administrative staff members.
